Build a strong foundation in climbing safety, equipment, and technique.

This entry-level course introduces participants to the essential principles of professional tree climbing through a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations. Attendees will gain a understanding of modern climbing systems, safety standards, and equipment compatibility—without leaving the ground.

Using our custom truss training system, participants will have the opportunity to test and compare a variety of climbing devices, ropes, and configurations in a controlled, low-risk environment.

• Gear inspection and care

• Harness and helmet fitting

• Rope and device compatibility

• Understanding climbing system design and function

• Equipment setup and safe operation practices
