This full-day workshop offers an in-depth look at grapple saw use in tree care, emphasizing safe operation, precision cutting, and efficient production techniques.
The morning begins with four hours of classroom-based theory, where participants will explore the various types of grapple saws used in the industry and their specific applications in tree care operations. Key topics include safe operating procedures, production efficiency, and the role of grapple saws in modern arboriculture.
In the afternoon, participants move outside for three hands-on rotations using a grapple saw crane. Under guided instruction, students will gain practical experience in:
• Grapple saw inspection and maintenance
• Debris handling techniques
• Precision cutting in controlled scenarios
By the end of the day, attendees will leave with both technical knowledge and applied skills, improving their confidence and safety when working with grapple saws.
Included: Indoor and outdoor instruction, use of grapple saw crane, and lunch.
