Join us on December 8 at 9:00am for a half-day Crane Operations for Operators & Crew workshop! This is an ASTI Grant Class hosted by Alpine Tree Service.

TCIA’s Tree Care Academy Crane Operations Specialist course is designed to build the basic competencies of crane operation for all members of the crew including the crane operator, arborist-in-charge, climber or lift operator, signal person and ground person.

The course covers:

• Job site safety

• Proximity to electricity

• Safe lifting procedures

• Assessing and overcoming poor ground conditions

• Slings, fittings and connections

• Rigging and hoisting

The cost is $25/person. Seats are limited to 30 people as per the ASTI Grant guidelines.
