Genie is to launch a new version of its GTH-1256 12,000lbs/5.4 tonne - 56ft/17 metre telescopic handler at the ARA Show in Orlando next month.
The new GTH-1256 can manage 6,000lbs(2,721kg) at its maximum lift height of just over 56ft/17m and take 3,500lbs (1,588kg) to its maximum forward reach of 42ft (12.8m). Power comes from a Deutz diesel matched to a four speed powershift transmission, with new limited slip differentials on both axles and full time four wheel drive.
