The Marrs M40R – The World’s Smallest Tower Crane

Marr’s fleet includes the largest capacity tower cranes in the world. But did you know that their fleet also includes the world’s smallest tower crane? Meet their M40R.

First used in 2007 to remove the cranes from the top of Eureka Tower in Melbourne, Marr designed the M40R to speed up their crane recovery process. As an evolution of the existing M60R, they always envisaged that it should be about the size of a fridge – because if it fits in a standard lift, it can be moved to any part of the building. Mission accomplished.
