“After almost 30 years in the tree industry I decided to become or try to become a certified crane operator. Cranes, for me, were some of the most intimidating machinery that we could use on our jobs. I had a lot of worries and concerns as far as being a safe operator with a crane. When I signed up for Hans’s class and saw his approach to teaching, I felt a lot less worried. Hans takes the time to teach you regardless of your issues. He will even stay after class on his own time to make sure you understand and feel confident with the material you’re working on. The best way I can explain it is Hans teaches you about crane safety and operations in a way that an arborist would feel comfortable with. I know Hans from another class as a student, but he was amazing as a teacher and I hope he goes on to develop other classes for our industry.”
